Who can view my horse’s information?
Access to horse information in Equipass is carefully managed based on a user’s role and their relationship to the horse.
Owners, managers, athletes, and authorised users, such as official veterinarians, may access relevant information depending on the permissions granted to them. Horse owners and managers retain full control, and no information is shared without their explicit approval.
Clear user management
Equipass provides clearly defined user roles to support secure, collaborative, and accurate equine data management:

Each role is designed to enable meaningful engagement with a horse’s records. Depending on permissions, users can view passport data and contribute to enriching a horse’s profile through Equipass features, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
Controlled sharing with passport viewers
Owners and horse managers can also grant temporary and specific access through the Passport Viewers feature. This allows trusted professionals, such as veterinarians or transporters, to view only the information they need, for a defined period of time.
This approach ensures transparency and efficiency while maintaining privacy, security, and owner control at all times.
