Equipass is introducing enhanced user management to make handling horse records simpler and more secure.
The system includes distinct roles: Owners, Managers, and Contributors. Each tailored to support different levels of access and engagement with a horse’s digital passport.
These roles allow authorised users to view, update, and enrich the horse's Equipass, ensuring that all information is accurate, complete, and collaboratively managed.
Owners and horse managers will also be able to grant temporary, controlled access to other professionals via the Share a passport feature. This means veterinarians, transporters, or other trusted contributors can view only the information they need, for a limited time, keeping sensitive data secure while enabling efficient collaboration.
