Scan & Trace: Instant horse identification and monitoring
Equipass is launching the Scan & Trace feature, designed for veterinarians, authorities, and all professionals involved in horse care. By linking a microchip reader directly to Equipass, users can quickly scan a horse’s microchip to access its identification information in real time.
This includes essential details such as location data and, where supported, temperature readings from thermal microchips.
The feature combines accurate identification, continuous health tracking, and complete traceability, allowing a horse’s full life history to be monitored from birth throughout its lifetime.
